Parineeti, Sidharth Flaunt Desi Moves in ‘Jabariya Jodi’ Song
‘Jabariya Jodi’ releases on 2 August.
The first song from the Sidharth Malhotra and Partineeti Chopra-starrer Jabariya Jodi has just released and it has all the desi feels in it. Titled ‘Khadkey Glassey’, the song is fun tune featuring the two actors as they dance and celebrate the Hindu festival of Holi. The song’s vibrant colour palate is enough to get you grooving.

The song has been sung by Yo Yo Honey Singh, Ashok Mastie & Jyotica Tangri. The composers behind this bop are Tanishk Bagchi & Ashok Mastie. This is the first song from Jabariya Jodi.
Earlier, both Parineeti and Sidharth had announced that the song would be releasing on 5 July. Parineeti took to Twitter to write, “Sound ON effing ON! #KhadkeGlassy out tomorrow!!!!”
Sidharth Malhotra, who made his debut with Student of the Year, also shared a teaser of the film.

The trailer of Jabariya Jodi dropped on 1 July.
The film is a humorous take on groom kidnappings in Bihar, commonly referred to as ‘pakadwa vivah’.
Sidharth plays the role of a gangster named Abhay Singh, who takes on contracts to kidnap grooms. Parineeti plays a feisty girl named Babli Yadav.
In the trailer we see Parineeti and Sidharth fall in love and then have a fallout because of the later’s political ambitions. So Parineeti’s character decides to kidnap Abhay, the man who kidnaps other grooms, and do a ‘jabariya shaadi’.
The film is directed by Prashant Singh, who was assistant director to filmmaker Aanand L Rai in films like Raanjhanaa and Tanu Weds Manu, and is written by Sanjeev K Jha, who has written episodes for TV shows like Crime Patrol and Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya.
The film also stars Aparshakti Khurana, Sanjay Mishra and Javed Jaffrey, among others.
