Chol Homa Roshay , written by Habba Khatoon who was also referred to as the ‘Nightingale of Kashmir’, was originally a folk song inspired by Kashmir’s rich heritage. It was first sung by Ali Saifuddin, a celebrated young singer from Kashmir. The composers, who’ve worked on this rendition for No Fathers In Kashmir, played around with Alif Saifuddin’s vocals by using unique instruments like Cristal Baschet.
