Filmmaker Karan Johar has shared two new character posters of the upcoming magnum opus Kalank. They feature stars Madhuri Dixit-Nene and Sanjay Dutt, who will be sharing screen space after 22 years. Madhuri, who plays Bahaar Begum in the film, is decked out in a red outfit and ornate jewellery. She wears a stern expression on her face. Karan Johar describes her as someone who “moves like the wind and her voice flows like a river.”

On the other hand Sanjay Dutt, who essays the role of Balraj Chaudhry, is seen sitting in a car, smoking a cigar. He is described as a “man of few words.”

Like the film, the posters too are being unveiled in a mysterious manner. Karan Johar had earlier shared the posters for the other actors of his film as well. Alia Bhatt plays Roop, Varun Dhawan plays Zafar, Aditya Roy Kapur plays Dev and Sonakshi Sinha Satya. The teaser launch left all spellbound with its elaborate sets, powerful looks of the actors and a fantastic background score. Scheduled to release on April 17 this year, the film was conceptualised by Yash Johar and Karan Johar.
