Actor Sanjay Dutt will be celebrating his 60th birthday on 29 July by gifting fans the first teaser of his upcoming film Prasthanam. The teaser of the project will be screened at a multiplex in Mumbai, followed by a cake cutting ceremony with fans, reports IANS.
Prasthanam is the Hindi remake of the 2010 Telugu cult classic of the same name. The film is being remade in Hindi by filmmaker Deva Katta, who also made the original. The film also stars Manisha Koirala, Jackie Shroff, Chunky Pandey, Ali Fazal, Amyra Dastur and Satyajeet Dubey, and is produced by Sanjay Dutt's wife, Maanayata. It is slated to release on September 20.
After comedian Kapil Sharma, actors Archana Puran Singh and Kiku Sharda have been roped in to voice the characters of Zeta and Leonard, respectively, in the Hindi version of The Angry Birds Movie 2, says IANS. Kapil will be lending his voice to the character of Red.
"I am a huge fan of animated movies and 'Angry Birds' is one of my favourite films. I remember watching the first part and being left completely in splits, it was so funny," Archana said. "It has been a privilege to voice Zeta and be a part of such a big ticket entertainer. I am looking forward to my family and fans hearing me in 'Angry Birds 2' and reuniting with my Kapil Sharma family," she added.
The Angry Birds franchise is based on the popular game of the same name. The Angry Birds Movie 2 will release in India on 23 August in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar just took to Twitter to unveil the poster for his film Bachchan Pandey. And turns out, Bachchan Pandey will be clashing with Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha at the box office as both the films have a release date of Christmas 2020.

In response to the open letter addressed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 23 July by the likes of Aparna Sen, Shyam Benegal and Konkona Sen, among others, 61 well-known personalities have penned another letter “against selective outrage and false narratives.”
In the letter, the signatories have accused the 23 July letter, issued on 23 July, of being an attempt at “tarnishing India’s international standing” and to “negatively portray Prime Minister Modi’s untiring efforts to effectuate governance on the foundations of positive nationalism.”

Upcoming film Saaho, which stars Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor, is touted to be one of this year’s biggest action thrillers. Naturally, the makers are not leaving any stone unturned. According to recent reports, the makers have brought on board Kenny Bates, the action director of famous Hollywood films like Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol and Transformers, for a special helicopter sequence. The team flew to Italy for the same. Saaho will release on 30 August.
