On Wednesday, Varun Dhawan took to Twitter to announce the release date of his upcoming film Coolie No 1, which will be an official adaptation of the 1995 Govinda-starrer. The film will release on 1 May, 2020.
The actor wrote on Twitter: “Aaj ka Din , Agle Saal Aega Coolie No.1 - Hoga Kamaal !!! Coolie No.1 releases on May 1, 2020”. The film will also star Sara Ali Khan and directed by David Dhawan.
It may have been the end of the road for Robert Downey Jr’s Iron Man but the actor won't feel the pinch financially, thanks to the contract he negotaited with the filmmakers a few years ago.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 54-year-old actor, who has been the face of Marvel Studios' money-minting Marvel Cinematic Universe, had managed to strike a "unique financial arrangement" with studio chief Kevin Feige couple of years ago. This unique deal landed him massive paychecks for the next few films.

Upcoming Bollywood film Sadak 2, which stars Alia Bhatt, Pooja Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt and Aditya Roy Kapur, is a sequel to the original 1991 film. A homecoming of sorts for the Bhatt family, the film will mark filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt’s return as a director. It will also be his first collaboration with his daughter Alia Bhatt.
In a recent report published by Mumbai Mirror, it has been revealed that the plot of Sadak 2 revolves around a protagonist’s fight against a godman. According to Mirror, Alia Bhatt, who is the protagonist in the film, is on a quest to call out and expose a fake godman who runs an ashram. Sanjay Dutt’s character too is helping Alia Bhatt on this journey.

Inspired by true events, upcoming Bollywood film India’s Most Wanted stars Arjun Kapoor who plays the role of Prabhat. In the film, Prabhat is out to catch the most dreaded terrorist referred to as ‘India’s Osama’. Prabhat is supported by a team of 5 ordinary people referred to as ‘Unlikely heroes’. The film is written, directed and co-produced by Raj Kumar Gupta of Raid and No One Killed Jessica fame.
The makers of the film just dropped the official trailer. In the two and a half minutes long trailer, we’re introduced to Arjun Kapoor, his team of ‘unlikely heroes’ and his blind optimism as he embarks on a mission to catch the mastermind behind the deadly attacks, without any weapons. The team travels to Kathmandu, Nepal. Despite having very little support and much at stake, the team seems to come close to achieving its mission.

The makers of upcoming Ajay Devgn and Tabu-starrer De De Pyaar De have dropped a new song from the film. Titled ‘Chale Aana’, the song is surprisingly mellow and the tunes will certainly touch your heart.
In the video, both Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh’s characters seem to be on a break of sorts. Throughout the day, they seem to be constantly missing and longing for each other. Only to eventually realise that they wan to be together. Towards the end of the video, a dramatic Rakul runs out of a restaurant as she finally realises that she wants to be with Ajay Devgn.
Rapper Drake set a record with the most wins ever, taking home 12 honours at the Billboard Music Awards.
The ceremony took place on Wednesday night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena here with singer Kelly Clarkson as the host.
Drake surpassed singer Taylor Swift to become the top award recipient in the Billboard Music Awards history. He won 12 awards, bringing his career total to 27. Swift has won 23 Billboard Music Awards, reports billboard.com.
Drake won the top artist and top Billboard 200 album, among others.
The rapper had clearly watched the most recent episode of Game of Thrones as while accepting the award for the Top Billboard 200 Album for Scorpion, he gave a shout-out to the show's character Arya Stark, reports eonline.com.
He said: "Thank you to everybody who gave me their time, their energy, stayed away from their family and friends while we were trying to complete this. I always had a dream of doing a double album and I finally did it so now I'll never do it again."

Gabriel Luna has been roped in again for Hulu network's upcoming live-action series surrounding the devilish motorcycle-riding anti-hero "Ghost Rider".
Luna will star in the recently announced network Hulu's live-action series based on the comic book character, reported variety.com.
This will be the second time Luna will play Ghost Rider. He earlier appeared as the character in the ABC-Marvel series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. However, sources stress that this will be a completely new iteration of the character and will, in no way, be connected to the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. storyline.
In addition to his time on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, Luna's other television credits include True Detective, Wicked City and Matador.
On the feature side, he is set to appear in the upcoming Terminator: Dark Fate opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton. He has previously appeared in films like Bernie, Freehold and Balls Out.
The Bollywood biopic on Kargil war hero Vikram Batra has been officially titled Shershaah, the film's lead actor Sidharth Malhotra has confirmed. "Excited to play Vikram Batra, a real-life hero on screen! Titled Shershaah! Shooting begins soon," Sidharth tweeted.
Kiara Advani, who features in the film too, tweeted: "Super excited and thrilled to be a part of this one! Can't wait for Shershaah shoot to begin soon."
The movie, backed by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, will be directed by Vishnu Varadhan from a story written by Sandeep Srivastava.
"Vikram Batra's life story will inspire you and bring a smile on your face. I am really excited to play the character," Sidharth had said earlier.

Some hearts will definitely be broken as Captain Marvel star Jude Law has married his girlfriend Phillipa Coan in a low-key ceremony in London, The Sun reported.
In photographs obtained by The Sun, Law, and Coan were seen walking together as they looked stunning in their wedding ensemble. Law was decked out in a corduroy Navy blue blazer with matching pants and a Fedora hat, while Coan sported a smart ruffled dress.

Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Abdellatif Kechiche's Mektoub, My Love: Intermezzo are part of the 2019 Cannes Film Festival competition line-up, the festival organisers announced Thursday.
The two films have been added to the 2019 Official Selection, according to the festival's official website.
Tarantino's film had been expected in the original line-up, unveiled on April 18, but artistic director Thierry Fremaux told reporters that day that the film was not ready.
Fremaux praised both Cannes favourite filmmakers -- American director Tarantino and Tunisian-French filmmaker Kechiche for their dedication towards the movie gala.
Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood, based on the murder of actor Sharon Tate and three others at the hands of the Manson Family cult in the 1960s, will have its world premiere at the festival.
Film's cast Leonardo DiCaprio, Margot Robbie and Brad Pitt will be also present for the premiere.
Rapper-actor Jaden Smith might play rapper Kanye West in an anthology series.
Showtime network is currently developing a limited half-hour anthology series that would star Jaden as young Kanye, a source familiar with the project told cnn.com.
The first season of the show, Omniverse, would centre on an alternate reality version of Kanye.
The crux of the show is not easily explained, but would involve philosophical concepts of perception and ego.
Kanye and Scooter Braun are set to executive produce the series. Lee Sung Jin, co-executive producer of Amazon's Undone, is set to write it.
