Kiara Advani Bags Lead Role in ‘Indoo Ki Jawani’
‘Indoo Ki Jawani’ will be helmed by Abir Sengypta.
On Monday, Kiara Advani confirmed her next project. She took to Twitter to announce the good news. Titled Indoo Ki Jawani, Kiara Advani will be playing the lead role in the film. It will also mark the Bollywood debut of Abir Sengypta, a Bengali writer and filmmaker.
Here’s what Kiara wrote on Twitter:
“#IndooKiJawani My first In and As So excited to collaborate with @EmmayEntertain @nikkhiladvani @monishaadvani @madhubhojwani @ashesinwind @ryanmstephen #AbirSengypta for the first time & it had to be as special as Indoowe need all your love & support for this one.”
She also shared a photo of her and the team of Indoo Ki Jawani.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to announce more details about the project. The film will be produced by Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani. Indoo Ki Jawani is expected to go on floors from September 2019.

Producer Nikhil Advani wrote on Twitter: “What a cracker script by writer/director #AbirSengupta We had to swipe right (hope I got that right!!!) @Advani_Kiara you’re just going to make #Indoo just come alive.”
Apart from Indoo Ki Jawani, the Lust Stories actor has a bunch of films in her kitty.
Kiara Advani will next be seen in the remake of Telugu film Arjun Reddy titled Kabir Singh. She will be starring opposite Shahid Kapoor. Kabir Singh will release on 21 June. Kiara Advani will also star in upcoming romantic comedy Good News, alongside Kareena Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, and Diljit Dosanjh. Good News will release on 6 September 2019.
Recently, Kiara also announced that she will be starring opposite Akshay Kumar in Laxmmi Bomb. It is scheduled to be released on 5th June 2020.
