The makers of the Abhishek Kapoor directorial released a devotional song from the film sung by Amit Trivedi, unfolding against the picturesque undulating backdrop of Uttarakhand. With lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya, the song Namo Namo introduces Sushant Singh Rajput’s character as a Muslim pithu or porter conveying devotees to the Kedarnath shrine. It also gives us a glimpse of Sara Ali Khan.

Kedarnath marks the debut of Sara Ali Khan, the film also presents the second association of Abhishek Kapoor with Ronnie Screwvala and Sushant Singh Rajput after Kai Po Che. Produced by Ronnie Screwvala's RSVP and Abhishek Kapoor's Guy In the Sky Pictures, Kedarnath is directed by Abhishek Kapoor and is slated to release on 7 December 2018.

Set in the backdrop of the flash floods that left Uttarakhand devastated in 2013, the film depicts a love story between a Muslim pithu (Sushant Singh Rajput) and a Hindu tourist (Sara Ali Khan). With music by Amit Trivedi, the song is a tribute to Lord Shiva.
