The 2019 edition of the IIFA awards is a ‘homecoming’ of sorts as they are calling it since the show is taking place in India for the very first time. This is the 20th ceremony of the prestigious awards, which were first established in 2000. This year they will be held at the Dome NSCI SVP Stadium in Mumbai on Wednesday, 10 September.
The pre-award event, IIFA Rocks had kicked off in Mumbai on Monday night. That event featured some amazing performances including ones by Amit Trivedi, Neha Kakkar, Salim-Sulaiman and designers Shantanu & Nikhil will also be displaying their latest designs.

IIFA Awards Date, Time and Venue
The IIFA Awards 2019 will kick off at 8 PM on Wednesday 18 September at the Dome NSCI SVP Stadium in Mumbai.
Arjun Kapoor and Ayushmann Khurrana will be hosting the 2019 IIFA awards.
IIFA Awards 2019 will air on Colors TV.
Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Madhuri Dixit, Katrina Kaif and Sara Ali Khan will perform at the IIFA Awards 2019.
