Hrithik Roshan, who plays Super 30 founder Anand Kumar in the film by the same name, is basking in the glory of the movie’s success. On the occasion of Guru Purnima, the actor visited Patna to meet Anand Kumar.

Sharing pictures with Hrithik, Anand tweeted, “The pious land of Gautam Buddh, Mahavir and Chanakya welcomes you Hrithikji today on Guru Purnima. #super30.”

Hrithik Roshan, Anand Kumar and director Vikas Bahl also met Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi. The CM tweeted photographs of their meeting.

Super 30 has already earned Rs 50.76 crore in three days of its release on July 12.

The Bihar government on Monday, 15 July, announced that Hrithik Roshan-starrer Super 30, based on the life of Patna-based Mathematics teacher Anand Kumar will be tax-free in the state from Tuesday. The film was released in theatres on 12 July.

Anand feels the move will help more people to watch the film. Super 30 addresses and acknowledges the importance of teachers in the building and strengthening of society. "Thanks a lot to CM Nitish Kumarji and Deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modiji making 'Super 30' tax-free. It will help more and more people see the film @iHrithik @RelianceEnt @NGEMovies @Shibasishsarkar #super30," Anand tweeted.

The announcement came a few days after Sushil Modi had gone to a city theatre along with his wife to watch the movie on the very day of its release and lavished praise on the biopic.

The movie is getting rave reviews for Hrithik’s performance, who appears sporting a dark tan and a rugged beard and speaks in typical Bihari accent in order to resemble Anand, who runs in his successful coaching institute the renowned "Super 30" group wherein talented youths from unprivileged backgrounds are provided free of cost tuitions for the coveted Joint Entrance Examinations.
