Yes, Ranveer and Alia’s ‘Gully Boy’ has a release date!

After witnessing Ranveer and Alia’s chemistry in a TV commercial, we cannot wait to catch these two on the big screen soon. The duo are paired opposite each other for the first time in a film titled Gully Boy, directed by Zoya Akhtar, which their fans are eagerly awaiting. And now the film finally has a release date - 14 February, 2019!

Gully Boy is reportedly inspired by the lives of Mumbai-based rappers Divine and Naezy. This first look shows that both the actors have gone completely de-glam for the film. While Alia is playing a Muslim girl in the film, Ranveer plays a boy from the Mumbai slums who’s passionate about music. Ranveer even has gone through some drastic weight loss for this character.
