Watch Anil & Sonam Groove Together In ‘Ishq Mitha’ From ‘Ek Ladki’
The song is a recreation of the popular ’90s number.
After RD Burman’s classic from 1942: A Love Story, the makers of Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga have revived another popular number — ’90s hit ‘Ishq Mitha’. While the original Punjabi song was performed by Bally Sagoo and Malkit Singh and featured Malaika Arora and Jas Arora, this version has been recreated by lyricist Gurpreet Saini and singers Navraj Hans and Harshdeep Kaur, with music by Rochak Kohli.

The video for the peppy number appears to be a wedding sequence featuring Anil and Sonam Kapoor grooving together. Actor Regina Cassandra, who reportedly plays Sonam’s love interest in the film also makes an appearance.
Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga has been directed by Shelly Chopra Dhar and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra Films and will release on 1 February. It brings together Anil Kapoor with daughter Sonam on screen for the first time, and also stars Juhi Chawla and Rajkummar Rao.
