Bollywood’s own agony aunt, Karan Johar is doling out advice to couples about communication in this week’s episode of Calling Karan.

Karan’s first caller is a bit of a sanskaari naari who’s dating a foreigner, and her “problem” gets bizarre with each passing breath. But Karan untangles the mess that her life is and teaches her a thing or two about equality, our culture and the “misogynistic vultures” that exist in our society. “Get over yourself, geography is nothing,” Karan’s candidly tells his first caller. Take a look:

Riteish Deshmukh, the surprise celebrity caller of the week, declares that Karan needs no advice on love, relationships, or on how to host radio shows because he’s the pro, at practically everything. Riteish had another surprise in store for all his fans when he tweaked a Kuch Kuch Hota Hai dialogue for the benefit of all his Marathi audiences.

The second caller talks to Karan about her partner not opening up to her. To this, Karan has a simple answer, “Just talk about whatever it is that’s bothering you”.

Such simple advice.

You can catch Karan Johar’s webisode, Calling Karan from Monday to Friday, twice a day on Ishq 104.8 FM.
