Clearly, for a girl to simply say ‘no’ isn’t good enough. It has to be a strong rejection, because a feeble one could confuse a guy. At least that’s what Justice Ashutosh Kumar’s ruling in the Mahmood Farooqui rape case suggests. Bollywood as it is has never really been able to wrap its head around the idea of consent. So, we decided to run some filmi scenes through this Feeble-O-Meter to gauge how our Bollywood divas fare on Justice Ashutosh Kumar’s idea of ‘a feeble no may mean a yes’.
