Saif Ali Khan’s latest film Baazaar, which released on 26 October, saw a lukewarm response at the box office on Day 1. According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the total collections amounted to Rs 3.07 crore on the first day. However, he also noted that the film has “fared much better than recent Saif Ali Khan starrers”.

In the meanwhile, Ayushmann Khurrana’s Badhaai Ho is still going strong and, according to Adarsh, “remains unaffected by the plethora of new releases”. It’s box office collections currently stand at Rs 69.5 crore, a figure that is expected to grow over the weekend, observed the analyst.

Badhaai Ho seems to be having a good run in international markets as well.
