The first audience reactions to the film were mixed bag leaning towards the good side. While some were impressed by the on-screen chemistry of Nawazuddin and Sanya, others just didn’t feel it. However, what struck a chord with the audience is the realistic portrayal of life and characters. Moreover, the film stood out for how different it is from the usual Bollywood dramas that are loaded with songs and random dance performances.
