When Anushka Sharma shared the first poster of her next film Pari, fans couldn’t stop raving about her scary look in it. But with the second poster announcing the film’s release date (9 February, 2018), she’s taken fear up a notch. After playing a not-so-scary ghost in Phillauri, Anushka’s third production under the Clean Slate Films banner, seems to be making up for the fear factor.

The poster shows Anushka lying on the floor, looking up at the ceiling with curtains swirling around her, with bruises on her face, hands and ankles. She seems to be listening to music in this state of trauma, which makes the poster both eerie and intriguing.

Pari also stars Parambrata Chatterjee and has been directed by Prosit Roy, who was an assistant director on her previous film, Phillauri.

The film’s first poster also carried the same blue tinge and had Anushka stare straight into camera in an unrecognisable de-glamorised look.

She’s sending chills down our spine already.
