Finally! Alia and Ranveer’s Gully Boy Goes on Floors

Alia Bhatt will share the screen with Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor in her next two films. The actress, who is busy prepping for both films, has finally begun shooting for Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy. The film, which also stars Ranveer Singh, is inspired by the lives of rappers Divine and Naezy.
Zoya Akhtar and Alia Bhatt took to social media to share details of the first day of shoot.
Meanwhile, Ranveer has already started recording songs for the film. He was also with the young rappers.
This is the first time Alia and Ranveer will be paired together on screen (not counting a TV commercial they starred in together). Joining the ensemble is Kalki Koechlin, who will be seen playing a rapper.
The release date of Gully Boy is yet to be announced.
