Just recently actors Vidya Balan and Rahul Bose had made child sexual abuse a talking point. Now Akshay Kumar has lent his voice to the issue by sharing his own brush with it and the subsequent trauma.

The Toilet: Ek Prem Katha star spoke about it at a seminar on women’s safety, which he attended with Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday. He recounted how as a boy of six, he was touched inappropriately by a lift man.

Bollywood actor Inder Kumar (44) is no more. He suffered a heart attack at his residence in Four Bungalows, Andheri, Mumbai at around 2 am on Friday morning. He worked in more than 20 films, also starring in a few with Salman Khan like Wanted, Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge and many others. The actor was currently shooting for his next film Phati Padi Hai Yaar.

4. Love the Man Sanjay Dutt Is: Omung Kumar

Filmmaker Omung Kumar says it has been an honour for him to direct Sanjay Dutt for the upcoming film Bhoomi, and says there's no one quite like the actor.

Bollywood star Akshay Kumar says he is interested in reaching out to a greater number of people with his upcoming film Toilet: Ek Prem Katha than on garnering box office business. He says the distributor has applied for tax exemption for the film.

During the trailer launch of the film here on Thursday, when asked that after Rustom and Airlift crossed the Rs 100 crore mark at the box office, whether he was looking forward to minting more moolah, Akshay said: “I am interested in more eyeballs than the box office collection.
