Aamir Khan’s ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ Will Be a Christmas 2020 Release
Aamir Khan’s next big release will be on Christmas next year.
Aamir Khan’s next big release titled Laal Singh Chaddha has got a release date. Going with Aamir’s success rate when having a release during the Christmas season, the release date of Laal Singh Chaddha has been scheduled for Christmas 2020. Laal Singh Chaddha is being produced by Aamir Khan Productions and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and is a remake of the popular Tom Hanks film Forrest Gump.
Laal Singh Chaddha will be directed by Advait Chandan, who earlier directed Aamir in the film Secret Superstar. The script of the adaptation has been penned by actor-writer Atul Kulkarni. While there was a lot of speculation around Aamir Khan’s next project after Thugs of Hindostan, the actor announced plan to act in the remake of Forrest Gump on his birthday in March earlier this year. Aamir also mentioned that he would be losing around 20 kgs for his role in Laal Singh Chaddha.
Directed by Robert Zemeckis, Forrest Gump won multiple Oscars including the Best Actor trophy for Tom Hanks. Let’s see how lucky Aamir gets with its Bollywood adaptation.
