Aamir Impresses Vadodara with His Gujarati Song & Navratri Spirit
Aamir Khan kicks off the promotions for ‘Secret Superstar’ from Vadodara with much Navaratri cheer.
Aamir Khan won over the city of Vadodara by singing a Gujarati song that he had learnt for an audition almost 25 years ago, during his humble theatre beginnings, as he flags off the promotions for his next outing, Secret Superstar.
But why did Aamir choose Vadodara as the first city to promote the film? The actor revealed to the crowds during Navratri celebrations, that the story of Secret Superstar is set in this vibrant city.
Aamir also launched Tirth Sharma, the new Secret Superstar, who will be seen playing the role of Chintan in the film, a close friend of Insia, played by Zaira Wasim. After director Advait Chandan and singer Meghna Mishra, Tirth Sharma is the third Secret Superstar that the film unfolds.
Aamir and his team will also be launching the third song from the film while in the city, titled 'I Miss You'.
Secret Superstar is the story of an aspiring singer, who chooses to follow her dream to become a singer despite her father’s wishes, by posting videos on social media anonymously.
The film is slated to release on October 19, 2017.
