The #MeToo movement that has gained momentum in Bollywood has seen multiple survivors of sexual harassment open up about their abuse in the recent past. Adding to these stories is Aahana Kumra, known for her role in Lipstick Under My Burkha. The actor divulged her shocking story of the sexual harassment she faced at the hands of filmmaker Sajid Khan and Anirban Blah, founder of celebrity management agency KWAN Entertainment, in an interview with Bombay Times.

I met him and he did the same thing that Saloni [Chopra] has written about him. Same drill—you go to his house, you are escorted to his room, which is pretty dark. He makes you watch what he’s watching.

She also adds that Khan did not make a pass at her maybe because she mentioned that her mother is a police officer. But that did not stop him from asking her uncomfortable questions.

He still asked me bizarre questions like, ‘Would you have sex with a dog if I gave you Rs 100 crores’? When I asked him why can’t we sit outside, he said that his mother was sitting there so why trouble her. I asked him to switch on the lights of the room, which he did.

She also shares an incident with Anirban Blah, founder of KWAN Entertainment.

Anirban Blah met me at the lobby of a five star hotel and said, ‘There’s a room here. Let’s negotiate there.’

Kumra got uncomfortable and walked out of the meeting that very instance but she also says that was considered to be a ‘normal’ conversation that Blah would have with women.
