The International Indian Film Academy Awards, aka ‘Bollywood’s Oscars’, was back for its 20th year. IIFA 2019 was held in Mumbai, and it was the first time the ceremony took place in India.

Harshdeep Kaur and Vibha Saraf won the Best Playback Singer award (female) 'Dilbaro' from Raazi. Arijit Singh won the Best Playback Singer award (male) for 'Ae Watan’, also from Raazi.
‘Raazi’ has won the Best Film award. It went to director Meghna Gulzar. Actor Katrina Kaif and choreographer presented the award.
The Best Actor (Male) award went to Ranveer Singh for Padmaavat. 83 director Kabir Khan presents him the award.
The Best Actor (Female) award goes to Alia Bhatt for Raazi. On-screen husband in the film, Vicky Kaushal presented her the award.
Sriram Raghavan won the Best Director award for Andhadhun. Deepika Padukone presented him the award.
Both Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone won the Best Actor in the last 20 years, respectively.
