It’s finally here. The first teaser of S Shankar’s Rs 500 crore visual extravaganza 2.0 landed online at 9am on 13 September. Featuring Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar, 2.0 is a sequel to Shankar’s 2010 blockbuster Robot. Needless to say there’s a lot of curiosity and excitement around the film because of the legacy of its maker and its stars.

2.0 is easily the most expensive Indian film ever made and it had over 3000 technicians from around the world working on it. So how does it all add up? Listen in to Vikram Venkateswaran reacting to the 2.0 teaser as he watches it.
