The most awaited reality show in India is back and this time it has a new format and theme. The decor of the house is designed to resemble a beach house and Omung Kumar tells us what’s so special about this year’s house.

Last year, my wife Vanita had said that in the new season of Bigg Boss, the house will be a beach house and there you have it. We made the theme and started designing. The show is pitched in that way, and just like this year, they launched Bigg Boss in Goa.

The Mary Kom director also said that he wanted to play with the psyche of the contestants and strategically set the house furniture in such a manner. Whenever someone is talking or there are groups in the house, the viewer can see it clearly.

When asked about his favourite part of the house, Kumar said that he loved the confession room. He said that it’s very classy with the chair made of wood and the sense that one is talking personally with Bigg Boss himself.

Here are a few pictures from the house

This season has a twist and it’s called ‘Vichitra jodi’ which means that the house will have a few contestants as pairs in the house. As host Salman Khan clarified in the recently held press conference in Goa, the pairs in the Bigg Boss house won’t just be couples. So, we have to wait and watch until the names are announced in the house.
