After the success of their first desi original - Inside Edge, Amazon India is now all set to release its second original titled Breathe. From what we know, unlike the first one, Breathe is a psychological drama. You must have seen some of the creepy publicity stills already, which includes, what looks like R Madhavan’s face being shoved underwater.

For their latest Indian show, Amazon has roped in Madhavan, Amit Sadh and Sapna Pubby. What’s more, the cute and charming Maddy may well turn out to be a serial killer in this one.

In Breathe, Amit Sadh essays the role of police officer Kabir Sawant, who’s part of the Mumbai Crime Branch and is looking into a series of unconnected deaths which could have one common suspect - Danny Mascarenhas played by Madhavan. Danny is also struggling to save his terminally ill son, and Kabir is focused on catching the sinister murderer.

Produced by Abundantia Entertainment and directed by Mayank Sharma, Breathe will start streaming from 26 January onwards. What’s also special is that the series will be a trilingual (Hindi, Tamil and Telugu) consisting of 8 episodes and it will be available in 200 countries across the globe.
