Akshay’s ‘Rustom’ Needs More Support Than ‘Mohenjo Daro’? Ya Right

It seems like age has taken a toll on Hrithik Roshan’s life. The blue-eyed boy of Bollywood became cranky when industrywallas overwhelmingly showered their support for Akshay Kumar’s Rustom while his periodic film Mohenjo Daro ran dry without any sahara.

Duggu made it pretty evident that he didn’t appreciate this gesture by his fraternity. In a recent interview he said:

It is a good thing. It’s a fraternity. If someone needs support, then we must support.

Then, perhaps as damage control, he quickly joined the #IAmWithRustom bandwagon by showing his support on social media. Well, kinda!

*Slow clap* That’s sweet Hrithik, but you really didn’t have to do this because you were right when you say Akshay ‘Rustom’ Kumar needs support and the fraternity must support him. Confused? Let us show you how your film can safely sail to the Box Office.

You see Hrithik Roshan is ‘kaabil’ enough to bag papa Roshan’s film even if everything else goes kapoot at the Box Office. But Akshay, unlike Duggu, has no daddy’s or uncle’s support. And don’t forget, Akshay has been at the bottom end of the pile so he knows what life is like. So there is nothing wrong if the man or his films get some support.

‘Mohenjo Daro’ is Beyond Support

The film, even before its release, has already sparked debates over historical inaccuracies. These include showing fair-skinned people with weird horn hairdos, which would make the original inhabitants of Mohenjo Daro roll in their graves. This period-saga film has so badly screwed up on the history front any support, let alone from Bollywood, is not to be expected.
