A making of video feature released with behind-the-scenes action from the sets of the much awaited 2.0 has piqued our interest in the film. Tamil filmmaker Shankar’s 2.0 starring Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson is a big budget entertainer scheduled to release early next year. The film with a reported budget of over Rs 400 crore is being shot in 3D.

Rajinikanth and Akshay, the big two of the film spoke about their experience of working for a film being shot in 3D for the first time.

The first 3D shot I watched on a small screen and I was repeatedly watching it, I don’t know how many times I must have watched it. I appreciate Shankar because it was mesmerising.

Working in 3D is a lot harder than I imagined, from the set up to how perfect things really need to be in every single shot. I used to go back to the director’s chair after every shot with a pair of hi-tech 3D glasses to check the shot.
