Whether good or bad, Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (ADHM) is definitely getting a lot of views and reviews on its opening day, squashing all the calls to boycott the film that a section of people had been spreading.

The movie’s cast has proven to be the biggest talking point of the movie before as well as after its release. While there was hue and cry about Pakistani actor Fawad Khan being in the movie before its release, the big surprise of cameo by Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt took the Internet by storm after its release.

  • After weeks of controversy over Pakistani actor Fawad Khan being in its cast, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil released on Friday.
  • Love for the movie poured in from celebrities as well as the public with it getting mainly positive reviews.
  • On the other hand, some weren’t too impressed and called the movie just another version of KJo’s older movies.
  • Shah Rukh Khan’s surprise cameo was the highlight of the movie for many of the fans.
  • Seeing the increasing demand, single screens finally decided to release ADHM to avoid suffering losses.

Single Screens Release ADHM to Capitalise on Demand

Reports suggest that the increasing demand for Ae Dil Hai Mushkil tickets has compelled the single screens owners to start advance bookings of the controversial film.

Even as Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) after much furore gave a green signal for the movie’s release, Cinema Owners Exhibitors Association of India (COEAI) stood by their decision to not play the movie on single screens.

According to MidDay, single screen owners are now not ready to bear losses since the MNS too has already given a go ahead to Johar’s film.

We have given two shows to the film. Most of the single screens have started their advance booking so why should I suffer losses? The state government, along with Karan Johar and the MNS, had taken the decision to allow the film’s screening.

SRK’s Surprise Cameo Is a Hit

There’s a surprise for Shah Rukh Khan fans. Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has a cameo by the actor and people are loving it.

Some have even gone ahead and called it the ‘saving grace’of the movie. In the time of the Internet when it’s difficult to keep things from leaking, SRK’s role in the film did not come out in the open before the film’s release.

The chatter around Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’s cast doesn’t seem to end. Other than SRK, the movie has a cameo by Alia Bhatt as well.

Just Another Version of KJo’s Older Movies?

People on Twitter have been calling Ae Dil Hai Mushkil a mixture of Karan Johar’s previous movies. Some are calling it Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna (KANK) 2.0, while some are saying its a failed combination of KANK and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.
