Befikre director Aditya Chopra might be feeling nervous about his second debut, but he’s in love with his actors Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor. The reclusive filmmaker has been sharing his thoughts about this new-age love story via open letters and he seems to be smitten by the talented newcomers. Jo apne actors se kare itna pyaar, woh tareef karne se kaise kare inkaar?

While he feels that there would be no Befikre without Ranveer Singh, he also says that even though he was initially worried about Vaani playing the female lead, she has now become the film’s strongest aspect.

It’s heartening to see this kind of admiration for newbies in Bollywood, but the final verdict will only be out on 9 December.
