Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil may have got mixed reviews but the Indian and overseas box-office have welcomed it with open arms. The film which courted controversy right before its release has earned over Rs 80 crore at the domestic box-office in its first week.
Add to this over Rs 50 crore that the film as collected overseas and the Ranbir Kapoor-Anushka Sharma starrer looks like a winner commercially.

Aamir Khan, who will be seen playing Mahavir Phogat, the father of wrestling champion Geeta Phogat in Dangal, will be heading out of town soon to attend her wedding.
The ceremony will take place in Geeta’s village in Haryana on 20 November and Aamir Khan will be there in person to congratulate her.
The Dangal actor was initially scheduled to shoot for Advait Chandan’s film on that particular day. But he has now rescheduled the same so that he can make it to Geeta’s big day.
Aamir will be accompanied by his on screen daughters Fatima Sana Sheikh and Sanya Malhotra, along with Dangal director Nitesh Tiwari. The superstar had spent a lot of time with Geeta, Babita and Mahavir throughout the making of Dangal, and has been very attached to the Phogat family for last two years. He reportedly feels particularly emotional and paternal towards both the girls, which is why he has promised to be at the wedding in person.
Geeta is the eldest of four daughters, and is an international wrestling champion.

Rahul Raj Singh, former boyfriend of the late TV actress Pratyusha Banerjee, has reacted strongly against a prominent Mumbai tabloid, that reported excerpts from their last conversation in order to accuse him of allegedly forcing her into prostitution.
Singh says that the transcript has been tampered with and partially reported to make him look guilty, when in fact Pratyusha was trying to suggest that it was her parents who were the main cause for her misery.
