Aamir, ‘Dangal’ Girls Felicitate Women Kushti Winner in Kolhapur

Bolywood actor Aamir Khan and ‘Dangal’ girls – Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra – felicitated the Lokmat Chi Dangal Kushti winner in the women’s category on Monday.

Aamir felicitated the winner of the competition and also shared his experience of the movie Dangal and his first visit to Kolhapur. Speaking of his fondness for the city, Aamir said:

I have wonderful memories associated with this city since 14 years of age when I came to Kolhapur for a Tennis Competition and won it too. With every movie, it’s a journey where hopes are high. The <i>Dangal</i> actresses have been trained at an international level of wrestling which they practiced for a year now. My intent is to create a people’s movement across Maharashtra with our Paani Foundation to ensure good drinking water across villages and towns.&nbsp;

Addressing the crowd in Marathi, Aamir spoke about his upcoming movie Thugs of Hindustan and at being quizzed about his inspiration behind his movies. Aamir revealed that it is his mother has been a great inspiration to him through his career. “My Mother is my inspiration”, he said.
