On Tuesday, Ellen DeGeneres received the Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian award in the US, from Barack Obama. While she teared up while receiving the award, she made sure to spread some laughter in the White House.

The popular talk show host convinced the dignitaries and celebrities in the room, including Robert DeNiro, Bill Gates, Bruce Springsteen, to take up the “Mannequin Challenge”. Even the White House guards participated in the challenge.

The Mannequin Challenge has been trending on the internet since quite some time. It requires people to freeze like a mannequin while a video of them is recorded.
