‘Long Live Democracy’: Modi Reacts As Rahul Wishes Him on UP Win

Rahul Gandhi also tweeted that the party’s fight will go on till it manages to win the hearts of the people.

After BJP’s landslide win in Uttar Pradesh, which decimated the Congress-SP alliance, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi took to Twitter to congratulate PM Narendra Modi on the saffron party’s victory in UP and Uttarakhand.

Modi promptly replied saying, “Long live democracy!”

The Gandhi scion, who is facing serious flak after the party’s debacle in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, said that the party’s struggle will go on.

He also congratulated Congress leader Captain Amarinder Singh and the people of Punjab for the party victory in the state.
