Ahead of the Punjab Assembly elections on 4 February, the Punjab Police, along with hundreds of personnel from India’s paramilitary forces deployed in the state, are working non-stop – 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The Quint talks to these heroes as they track down drugs and weapons and work to ensure that money does not influence the elections.

Apart from the Punjab Police, teams of over 450 flying squads and around 504 static surveillance teams have reportedly been working in the state to keep a check on illegal means being used to lure voters.
