Kangana, Shahid, Karan Attend PM Modi’s Oath-Taking Ceremony
Bollywood celebrities were present on this special day.
Narendra Modi has taken oath as India’s prime minister for the second consecutive term, after a historic mandate saw the BJP-led NDA getting 353 seats.
President Ram Nath Kovind is also administering the oath of office to other leaders, including Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari, and Nirmala Sitharaman, among others.
Bollywood celebrities like Kangana Ranaut, Karan Johar, Shahid Kapoor, Siddharth Roy Kapur, Asha Bhosle, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra were dressed in their elegant best for the special occasion. Rajinikanth was also present. Kangana Ranaut’s team shared some photos.
Anil Kapoor attended the event dressed in a smart black suit. “Honoured to be attending one of the most important ceremonies of the year”, he wrote.
Anupam Kher shared the invite and said that he was “honoured and humbled.” His wife and politician Kirron Kher was all smiles after her victory.
Kangana Ranaut looked beautiful in her white and gold saree. On her arrival in Delhi, Kangana had said, “My warm wishes are with Prime Minister Modi so that he can accomplish his dream of making our country a five trillion economy.”
Director Abhishek Kapoor stole some time to click a selfie with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Boney Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Rajkumar Hirani.
Shahid Kapoor’s wife Mira Rajput was also present.

BJP MP Hema Malini, who won the Mathura Lok Sabha seat for the second consecutive time, was snapped at the airport. Jeetendra too arrived in Delhi to attend the ceremony and called it a “historic moment.”
“I’m a big follower of Modi and an ardent fan. I think the country is in beautiful hands. I am so happy for my countrymen and happy for myself to be here today,” the veteran actor had told reporters.
