Disillusioned with successive governments failing to address the peoples’ basic needs, this bangle-seller in Ayodhya has no time to waste on issues of mandir and masjid, believing it to be a matter of politicking and hidden agendas. But the man is not quite so straightforward – he may fly the SP flag above his shop, but there’s no question he has a favourite, and it’s not Akhilesh.
