In a conversation with Barkha Dutt, students of the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) shared their thoughts about the shocking instances of gender discrimination on the campus of the prestigious varsity.

The students, who gathered at Reewa Ghat in Varanasi for the Facebook Live, urged the authorities to resolve the issue.

“We are proud of our university, and we want problems of the gender divide to be solved,” one student said. “The administration has become fascist,” another added.
