The race for 543 seats to constitute the 17th Lok Sabha has kicked off – with 91 constituencies across 20 states and union territories voting on Thursday, 11 April.

Polling across all the states began at 7 am. The results of the general elections will be declared on 23 May after the conclusion of seven phases.
