Ahead of Polls, Priyanka Gandhi Holds Roadshow in UP’s Saharanpur
Present at her side was Congress’ candidate from Saharanpur, Imran Masood.
Priyanka Gandhi Vadra held a roadshow in Uttar Pradesh’s Saharanpur on Tuesday, 9 April. The road show, which began at Gol Kothi area, is supposed to end at Qutub Sher, a distance of approximately 1.7 km.
Present at her side was Congress’ candidate from Saharanpur, Imran Masood.
“We are very hopeful that we will win, there is anger among the public against BJP and (there is) support for the Congress. I request people to vote for our candidates here (Kairana, Saharanpur and Bijnor) so that we win with a huge margin,” she told ANI.
Earlier in the day, she visited Bijnor and held a roadshow there.
Saharanpur and Bijnor are set to go to the polls on 11 April in the first phase of the Lok Sabha elections.
