For Rohit Suneja, a wholesaler of fabric in Chandni Chowk, payday has been mayday. Without cash to give to his workers, he is now thinking of giving them a cheque.
The only problem?
The workers will have to go to a bank to withdraw the money anyway, compounding the already chaotic situation. Grappling with the situation post demonetisation, Suneja talks to The Quint about his issues. Tracing a day in his life, here’s what we found.
