“Imagine a world without any countries

Nothing to kill or die for, and no religion too...

Imagine all people living there life in peace...”

                                                      - John Lennon

What is independence?

Is it merely liberty?

Is it freedom from foreign domination?

Or

Is it a red cherry on a strawberry cake?

No, my friends. This isn't freedom, at least not for me.

With freedom comes responsibility. A lot of responsibilities. And along with it comes hard work and perseverance.

As Indians, we all do dream of a beautiful India.

I am no exception and India of my dreams is an utopia. In my dreams, India doesn't need constant surveillance at its borders. In my dreams, India leads the way in economic and social spheres.

In my dreams, all India is perfect.

In my dreams, nobody needs to fast, carry candle-light marches to pass some bills or to fight for their rights.

Yes, in my dreams, India is really an utopia.

There is widespread illiteracy, poverty, corruption, but we can change this.

If we work hard, and help each other, surely we can reach the state of utopia.

I’ll like to end my write-up with Rabindranath Tagore’s words.

“Into that heaven of freedom my father
Let my country awake...”
