- Turkey hosts 2.5 million refugees
- Pakistan: 1.6 million
- Lebanon: 1.1 million
- Iran: 9,79,400
- Ethiopia: 7,36,100
- Jordan: 6,64,100
- Kenya: 5,53,900
- Uganda: 4,77,200
- Democratic Republic of Congo: 3,83,100
- Chad: 3,69,500
Just 10 countries host 58% of the world’s refugees. Half of these countries are located in Sub-Saharan Africa. Four of these – Ethiopia, Uganda, Chad, Democratic Republic of Congo – are Least Developed Countries (LDCs).
