Hours after failing the drug test conducted by NADA on July 5th, India’s 74 Kg freestyle wrestler Narsingh Yadav has come under fire. Such an event barely 10 days before the start of the biggest sporting event on the plane is an embarrassment that India must deal with now.
Narsingh’s coach Jagmal Singh, however, has come out in defence of his student. Jagmal Singh says that he has been coaching Narsingh for the past 15 years and knows everything about his living style, eating habits and training sessions.
He also added that the wrestler is always careful with his diet and has never failed in any of the doping test prior to this. Singh alleges foul play, claiming that Narsingh is the victim of a conspiracy.
