Twitter was convinced that the former President could live up to people’s expectations and be the First Gentleman of the United States. (Is that what he’s going to be called?)
With his speech, Bill Clinton set the bar high for a husband doting over his partner.
He recounted their time together since college and spoke emphatically about how Hillary deserves to be the next POTUS.
He spoke in detail about their love story, while simultaneously bringing to the fore her achievements. He called her the “change-maker.”
He really showed how 45 years of togetherness deserved at least a few minutes of on-screen time.
Some were perplexed about how they were going to have to remember every detail of their relationship, henceforth.
