The government has delayed the decision to sign Bollywood actor, Amitabh Bachchan as Brand Ambassador of ‘Atulya Bharat’ due to his name appearing in the Panama Paper leaks.
According to The Indian Express, the decision which was supposed to be taken in April initially, will only be finalised after the actor is given a clean chit.
As per the leaks, Bachchan has alleged links with offshore entities in two tax havens. But the 73-year-old actor has denied the allegation.
