In an interesting turn of events in Pratyusha Banerjee suicide case, lawyer of Rahul Raj Singh (Pratyusha’s boyfriend) has quit the case. Lawyer Neeraj Gupta has quit the case a day after Rahul was booked by police for abetting Pratyusha’s suicide.

According to NewsX, Neeraj said that he was “kept in the dark” about certain facts by his client. Hence, the lawyer decided to leave the case.

On the other hand, Rahul has filed for an anticipatory bail at Dindoshi Court in Mumbai.

Earlier, the police had booked Rahul under section 306 of IPC on Tuesday at Bangur Nagar Police station in Mumbai. Speaking to media, Rahul had claimed that he was “innocent”.
